Works well after I figured out the multiple shaving heads. I started with a 1 and switched to a 3 this morning. The shave is better. There are three switchable heads with two sides each. Total of 6 shaving settings depending on the head that you use 1-6. The razor has good feel. The handle is fairly long and it is fairly heavy which is good.
Very well made and balanced. Great Shave. Better than any other razor I've tried.
Multitude of plates, clean design, has a nice weight to it, and is overall enjoyable to use
Impressively heavy and robust. As such might require a little finesse in the tight corners like under the nostrils. Yet one pass with one blade does the work of six passes with a triple blade with no greater risk of nicking.
As a razor working fine but just a few months in to using and the chrome plating is all coming off
I've been searching recently for something that would allow me to shave more frequently. Prior to this blade, I was using my Andis Master clippers and a Harry's razor, but I could only shave my head once every 2 weeks or so due to irritation.....Enter the Rockwell ....I started with level 1, and finished my first shave with level 2. Hair grew back fairly quickly so I moved up to level 3 for my head and neck.....this is the sweet spot for me. I've shaved 3x in a matter of a week just to make sure this would agree with my sensitive skin.....IT DOES!!! IF YOU'RE ON THE FENCE....DO IT!!! I'm still using the razors that came with it, but I've gotten some Derby Premiuim razors to use after the Rockwells are gone. 3 shaves with the same blade and no irritation and a clean head....I hate I waited so long to venture out, glad I did.
I ordered this, and received an empty envelope, but luckily Amazon was quick to send a replacement. Very impressed with this shaving tool. I have been using cartridge razors for years, and now I am wondering why I didn't swap over before. Instructions are clear, plates easy to swap or flip. Great item.
very good quality. !!!!fast delivery.thank you.
Ok gentlemen after almost 3 years of using that kind of razors I have some to sayI have Mhulle R89 and this one and it’s a pain to shave with this razors. Idk why it became popular recently but it’s absolutely poor and **** experienceI threw that in garage and came back to my Gillette FusionI hope I can save your moneyDon’t buy it
This will last you for about 1 year then the parts will literally start to decay. No matter how many times I cleaned this thing it would get rusty and today it eventually gave out and the threaded bolt to put this thing together just snapped off … would not buy again.
I’ve been using a Merkur Mk34c for 2.5 years and it has worked well. Decided to switch over to the 6C and must say it gave a much smoother shave. Very happy with the 6C so far.
This a very good razor, but after three years it will no longer **** on. The threads will no longer close on the handle making it useless. Now should I buy another?
I was using a Vikings Blade safety razor for almost a year and really liked it. I just felt like something was missing (and it also started somewhat falling apart). I ordered this on a whim and thought maybe spending a bit more on a razor might help. And man was that the best decision I've made. I literally said "oh my god" after the first stroke from the razor. Do yourself a favor and get this razor. Please!
I have had this less than 6 months and the head that screws into the handle just broke off. I am disappointed as this is the second one I have purchased that broke.
My first experience w/ a double edge razor. A lot better than the multi blade disposables. i really like the guide on which angle fitting to use.
Did I receive USED blades ?!!!! What ? Anyone have this discoloration PRIOR use ? Just opened my package and noticed these blades, 1 looks new and the others looks used ...
Very disappointed that the razor broke on me after 6 months of use. I was changing the blade and when I screwed the head back on, the metal part that you **** on just snapped. I thought that this was supposed to last multiple years, and it is very disappointing that it broke so suddenly and after such a short amount of time. The razor itself is good, though. It didn't cause irritation and cut close to the skin, but that is what I'd expect from a safety razor. The design of this one is quite stupid, since the sides of the blade stick out of the head of the razor, meaning that you have nowhere to grip it when you are ****/unscrewing the top, so you basically must use some kind of towel in order to not cut yourself.
The choice of combs makes this an outstanding choice for the first time user and the experienced one. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this razor again.
Shaving is great ,no nicks, very smooth. Great product, glad I spent a little extra.
I bought this to replace a Mercur 34C which finally would not **** in. It's far superior. The weight of the head gives you a great feel and the length is just right.Of course, I got it for the adjustability. Once you find your number, you'll probably stay on that setting. I go between 4 and 5 depending on the blade. You don't know which number works best on your face and beard so it's a great feature to have.
Great razor.
I have a Parker that has adjustable shave closeness however all it seems to do is loosen the top plate to achieve this. This Rockwell razor has a totally solid feel and the six options of closeness are fantastic. Bonus it is the smoothest shaving razor I have ever used this is now become my absolute favorite.
This is amazing for a beginner. Comes with all the instructions you need. Pro tip, I used a pre shave oil before my shaving cream, and had zero cuts or razor burn. I used it on plate 2, which is recommended for beginners. I'm sold!!!!
Razor came in crumpled, unsealed box with stains on the inside.
